If there's one thing I'm passionate about, it's NBA All-Star Weekend. I consider it a holiday and every year in the middle of February I glue myself to the TV for three days straight to watch the perfect marriage of basketball and pop culture.

Looking for a way to share my excitement, I wrote a simple post in a private Facebook group of my high school friends years ago. A list of picks snowballed into a slightly more detailed explanation of my picks the next year, then a lengthy article for a student-run sports media outlet I wrote for in college (RIP Butler University's BU:30), until graduation led to me creating my own website. This year's blog is the biggest and best version yet. On this new site you can easily vote for your picks, leave comments to join the conversation, read up on years past, and win prizes!

Is it super dorky of me to make this website? Of course. But I love doing this and appreciate everyone who reads and joins in on the fun.
